Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing location!
No parking. Extremely small room-barely space for luggage.
A wonderful little hostel with character and a great location. Staff are excellent--helpful, knowledgable, and thoughtful. Highly recommend.
The only problem I had was that I had a room that overlooked the street and there were sometimes noisy bachelor parties outside.
Nice and Friendly staff. Got ppl stand-by for 24 hours. I like the design of the hotel and rooms. The location is good and not far away from bus station and city centre.
I liked Red Nose's position the most - it is situated excellently in Riga's Old Town, a few minutes walk away from Galleria shopping centre, the river or numerous restaurants and bars. Both bus and train stations are quite near, and so is Origo shopping centre. A good place to stay, if you plan to be on foot the whole day (or night)! Red Nose's interior and exterior are good worth for its cheap prices, some rooms have a view to a church and have a view to an eclectic Rigan courtyard.
When windows are opened, some might find the noise of an air conditioner on the side of the next house a tad annoying.
Price to have a private room is excellent in a perfect location. If you maintain these kind of prices much more people should go there.
I like everything.
Nice area, nice place good price
Great place, never been in a better hostel before!!!Certainly value for money...
Reallly friendly and accommodating staff. Basic but clean room and bathroom (shared). Though I never ran into anyone. Having a kitchen was great trade off for not having my own bathroom since Riga caters too much for the tourists that it's difficult to find Latvian food. I ended up in supermarkets and malls eating and bringing food back. Very clean kitchen. Everyone was responsible. Quiet room. Double window. When I needed an extra comforter and blanket because it got cold, they gave them to me with a smile! Can't forget the excellent location. Excellent value!!! for Riga.
Location was great (especially if using the airport shuttle), bathrooms brand new and only shared amonst a few people.
Staff not as friendly as other hostels I've been to and it was more of a nice place to sleep rather than having a common area/hostel vibe
The best hotel in Riga. And it is too cheap to believe in it. So just try :)
wifi worked and it was just around the corner of old town historic sights..
The stuff was nice, location is excellent.
It was very cold in the room.
Really impressed with this hostel. Had a great stay in Riga and a lot of this was down to the quality of the accommodation and the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. The hotel is the perfect base for a short or long break or a stayover - the rooms are great, everything is clean and new; the location is perfect for everything - night life, transport to/from airport or the bus/train stations; shopping. I know I'll be staying there again soon!! :) Strongly recommend it to everyone!!!
Location is excellent!
Broken shower, very cold room, lots of noise coming from hallway in the night, broken light in the room, have to pay for towel (!)
great room. perfect location. very helpful staff
it is a bit noisy street during the weekend. Riga is party town so you might miss bit of sleep
